Anticipating the series

The television premier on ABC may cause viewers to see a toned down version of Wizard's First Rule; HBO may have been the better choice considering the graphic nature of the books.

Books one through four have been the most popular books out of the twelve. Goodkind's plots are strong; each book acting as its own but Richard and Kahlan's constant seperation proves to be dry and old.

The Wizard's First Rule mini series will kick off in the fall of this year on ABC. Production will begin in the spring.

Wizard's First Rule, for those of you have not read it, is a science fiction/fantasy novel that starts with Richard and Kahlan sent on a journey to fight against the ultimate evil.

A recommended read for those who favor adventure.

1. Terry Goodkind successfully created a world in twelve books about struggle, war, love and

life.

2. Sam Raimi and Goodkind are currently working on a mini series of the first book in the Sword of Truth series titled Wizard's First Rule. Production was set to begin this year but the writer's strike may delay the process.
